Hong Kong Wine and Dine Month begins with the Hong Kong Wine and Dine Festival. It will be held at the West Kowloon Waterfront Promenade. There will be a gathering of wine, food and live entertainment.
You can taste different wines at over 160 dedicated booths from 16 countries and regions (such as Australia, Canada, Chile, France, Spain etc). Many international wines will be showcased paired with food from local restaurants. So you can enjoy perfect match of cuisine and wine that you have never imagined. At the same time, enjoy the fascinating views of Victoria Harbour!
Having great food and wine is a great enjoyment. What makes it better? Live entertainment like jazz and singing will take place on the main stage during the evening. Performers are Latin diva Laura Fygi, famous record producer and songwriter Hanjin Tan & band, canto-pop singer William So & Ivana Wong etc. Apart from live entertainment, you can also enjoy roving entertainment featuring musicians, ballerinas and jugglers.
If you want to learn something about wine and food, there will be elementary and in-depth wine appreciation classes, wine talks, live cooking demonstration classes by master chefs from renowned Hong Kong hotels and restaurants. What's more, there will be a workshop that you can show your artistic flair by painting your wine glasses. You must have lots of fun from this festival!
The festival is organized by Hong Kong Tourism Board and will start from October 28 to 31. It is the second time to hold the festival this year. Last time is a huge success. Let’s watch a video about Hong Kong Wine & Dine Festival in 2009.
